ABOUT US
HISTORY
Springfield Engineering Company was founded in 1952 by Ben F. Fielder. In the beginning, the company engineered and installed heating systems as well as refrigeration systems for mechanical cooling. Around a decade after the company started, it added a Sheet Metal fabrication shop and became a Sheet Metal contractor. SECO continued expansion of the organization in the 1980s when a plumbing division was started, and AutoCAD and digital takeoff were first utilized by the company. Since that time, utilizing innovative technology and highly-skilled tradesmen has continued to be key to SECO's success in expanding business operations. Today, SECO is one of the largest Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors in Southwest Missouri.
