MERCY ENERGY CENTER

SECO completed the mechanical and plumbing scopes of the Mercy Energy Center. It includes:

• (4) Boilers, each with generation capacity of 44,000 pounds of steam per hour

• (4) Trane centrifugal chillers with a total capacity of 10,000 tons

• A Vari-Prime Systecon Pumping System that moves 24,000 gallons of water per minute throughout the hospital

• Fun Fact: This chiller plant is one of the largest in Missouri and has the equivalent capacity to supply over 3,500 homes during the summer
